Federal Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital, Yaba, Lagos, has been abandoned. This is due to recurrent attacks from mentally challenged patients at the hospital. The doctors are now on an indefinite strike to protest issues of insecurity at the hospital. They
said many of their colleagues have suffered severe injuries due to violent attacks from their patients. .
The last attack that broke the camel’s back was the attack on two female doctors at the outpatient unit of the hospital last month….. the mad patients literally brought out the Usain Bolt in the female doctors who ran wt their legs touching d back of their heads…..
