For plying the BRT Lane, 7 Lagosians ordered to cut grass

They were caught plying BRT lanes and were ordered to cut grass on the football field of the Ministry of Youth and Social Development remand home, Oregun, Lagos. They were arraigned at the Special Offenses Court at Alausa, Ikeja, and were
sentenced to one hour community service in addition to payment of traffic fine. They are: Kimi Egbekun, Daniel Chimmezie, Sodiq Musa, Felemi Moses, Idris Olewale, Obasi Emeka, Bucky Olapade.

They were apprehended around 9am on the 21st of April, 2014. They all admitted they regularly plied the BRT lanes in order to meet deadlines or beat traffic gridlocks except for Kimi who maintained that he was caught on his first attempt…. n shld av been given a lesser punishment like washing public toilets for jst 59minutes n 59 seconds……
