The Nasarawa State Police Command has dragged the National Vice Chairman of the APC, North Central Zone, Zakari Idde, before the state High Court in Lafia for his alleged involvement in the murder of a Chinese miner, reported Punchng.

Also involved alongside the APC Chieftain are his police orderly and two other persons. Idde was charged alongside nine other people.

According to the police, the suspects ambushed and killed a Chinese national and three others at Wugibi Hills in the Alogani area of Nasarawa Eggon LGAof the state late last year.

The state commissioner of police, Mr. Abubakar Sadiq-Bello, said that Idde was among the prime suspects in the murder.
