David Adjarho, 46, today completed a 787-km walk from Lagos to Abuja to promote “wrapper marathon’’ in Nigeria. He said the exercise was to promote tourism and attract investment into such a marathon. He said wrapper marathon was aimed at

promoting the use of wrapper in marathons instead of wearing the conventional jerseys.

Adjarho, who wrapped himself in a 15-yard Ankara material, said the walk he underwent was to promote a N500m fund raiser for 5 NGOs committed to humanitarian services in Nigeria and also to witness the inauguration of Buhari.
