Meet the 4 Nigerians who made the final shortlist of those to be executed for drug trafficking

9 foreign drug convicts are set to be executed in Indonesia after losing all appeals for clemency. Despite all odds, Nigeria made a strong showing. Sylvester Obiekwe Nwolise, 49, was found guilty in September 2004 of trafficking 1.18kg of heroin 2002. His clemency appeal was
rejected in February this year. Okwudili Oyatanze, 45, was sentenced to death for trafficking heroin in 2001. His clemency appeal was rejected earlier this year.

Jamiu Owolabi Abashin, 50, was caught with 5kg of heroin on September 2, 1998 and was sentenced to life imprisonment the following year. Martin Anderson, 50, was arrested in 2003 and sentenced to death…. Although Mercy has always been saying “No” whenever sin demands justice 4their souls, but it seems it’s now beyond Mercy n they’ll finally b bidding farewell to earth within d coming days…..
