Former Bauchi State SSG, Ahmed Dandija, ex-chairman of the PDP in Gombe State, Nuhu Poloma and the zonal coordinator of the PDP in Gombe, Taraba and Adamawa states, Bunu Mulima, have returned N10m, N2m and N5m respectively to EFCC.
Dandija was said to have admitted in a written statement that N20m passed through him to some other beneficiaries but accepted liability for the refund of the whole sum. He reportedly promised to bring another bank draft for the balance of N10m today.
However, Poloma had N450m pass through him for disbursement. He admitted that N2m was his personal benefit from the fund while Mulima, according to him, reaped N30m from the campaign fund. They have pledged to refund the balance.
EFCC has been pursuing beneficiaries of the $115m campaign fund made available by Diezani Allison Madueke, to facilitate the re-election of GEJ…. wch enemies of progress impeded….
