Ebele Obi, Mikel Obi’s elder brother and Heartland goalkeeper, was recently given a thunderous slap by billionaire Ifeanyi Ubah, at the end of a match between Heartland and his club FC Ifeanyi Ubah. Ebele was already planning to slam Ubah with a N200m lawsuit for damages before his family intervened.
In a chat with AfricanFootball.com, Ebele said: “I am not going to press charges against Ifeanyi Ubah again. Lawyers have started the procedure, but I will have to tell them to withdraw.
This decision was taken after a long family meeting in our village in Anambra with my father, mum, wife, brother and sisters in attendance. My dad said I should withdraw the case in the name of almighty God who we serve and that I should let God handle the case.”…. cuz God’s slap is d best….
