Ambode abolishes monthly environmental sanitation exercise in Lagos

This was made known today by the state Commissioner for the Environment, Babatunde Adejare. He said that Gov. Ambode made the move because of its cost to the state’s economy as Lagos cannot afford to shut down a mega city like Lagos for a period of 3 hours. He noted that environmental sanitation should rather be a daily exercise and charged residents to make it a way of life…. so dt d global community can stop tagging them “dirty Lagosians” as it is now….
