Robbers chop off the two wrists of 70-year-old security guard on a N12,000 salary

   
  
Pa Jacob Ikilo, a security guard at a filling station at Eyaen village, on the Benin-Auchi Road, Edo State, is receiving treatment at the Male Orthopaedic Ward of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital, where doctors are battling to save his right wrist being kept alive by a tiny blood vessel and requires N380k to be fixed back.

Robbers chopped his wrists off on Monday, February 29, at 3 am. Jacob who works 12 hours daily and was on night duty, said he had gone to check an unusual noise at the plant house when he heard people running towards him and attacked him. The company manager called the police after a driver discovered Pa Jacob.

Jacob said he had been working for the last six months without his N15, 000 monthly pay. He added that N3, 000 was deducted and paid to the company that helped him get the job which made his take home pay N12,000.
