Nigerian Army General who led war against Boko Haram dies in auto crash

  
The General Officer Commanding (GOC) 3 Division of the Nigerian Army, Brigadier General Muhammed Aliyu, was yesterday involved in a ghastly auto crash along Damaturu, Maiduguri road, Yobe State with some other officers. The GOC was critically injured.

Major General Yusha’u Mahmood Abubakar died. The two military officials were on official assignment when their car crashed a few kilometers away from Benisheik, along the Maiduguri-Kano highway, while en-route to Yobe State for a special military force graduation.
