Plans have been concluded to commence medical emergency and rescue operations in Lagos State as Gov. Ambode has deployed the 3 Rapid Response Squad (RRS) helicopters he recently purchased, as
a means to facilitate rescue operations as well as boost security surveillance in the state.

Yesterday, one of the choppers carried out a test landing at the emergency unit of the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital in Ikeja, in preparedness to handle any emergency situation as well as show that accident victims and others in emergency situations can be flown to anywhere in the state to receive prompt medical attention.
