On Friday, a man shocked onlookers when he mounted an electricity transmission tower at Power-line Street, Calvary Bus Stop in Egbe-Idimu, Lagos, despite warnings from people. A resident, Mr. Kazeem Oyebola, said: “He
was not mad at all. He was coherent when he talked. He had a mission and it was to kill himself for some unknown reasons.”
Policemen later came in to make him disembark, after spending 3 hours on the tower. An official with an electricity distribution firm said that the only way the man could have survived electrocution was because there was no electricity in the wires….. all thanks 2 d past Nigerian leaders who didn’t fix our electricity problem……
