UNIPORT student killed by a police van on his birthday, set to be buried on Friday

Edah Oghenekevwe Richard, a final year Mechanical Engineering student of University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, was knocked down by a police van driving against traffic on the 20th of Dec. 2015, which was
his birthday.

He was said to be on his way home from Church. The police initially denied involvement but later admitted knocking him down. Richard, who was supposed to serve the country in this year’s Batch A of the NYSC, will be laid to rest on Friday.
