Aagya Pal Singh, a 45-year-old napep driver has been arrested in connection with the alleged molestation of a 22-year-old 200 level female Nigerian student inside a moving napep in Shahpura. His brother, Baljeet Singh, is
however still at large.
The incident took place in the wee hours of Friday when the girl was headed to a friend’s place. In her complaint, she told the police that she had tried to jump off the moving tricycle but the duo prevented her from doing so.
Finally, one of them threw her off, before they drove off. The girl, who sustained injuries, called up police and was rushed to DDU Hospital for treatment. Aagya Pal Singh admitted committing the crime with his brother.
