Kidnapper who slept off during operation, finally dies

A suspected kidnapper who was arrested after falling asleep during a kidnap attempt at a chemist in Owo, Ondo State, on August 5, 2018, has died, nine days after.

He had been unconscious since his arrest. The spokesperson for Ondo State Command, Femi Joseph, confirmed the news of his death, on Tuesday in Akure. .

The suspect was said to have died, yesterday, at Owo General Hospital, where medical personnel had battled to revive him. .

One locally made gun and 400mg of tramadol had been found on the deceased, sparking speculations that he might have overdosed on tramadol.
