An Uber driver had a close shave with death, last night, after members of the Viko Airport Taxi, Abuja, beat him up for trying to pick a passenger at the airport.
The victim was later rushed to a hospital where is his currently recuperating. It was gathered that the Viko members register with Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria, yearly, hence their hostility towards other drivers.
According to reports, everything has been done to prevent situations like this, but the airport authorities have not done anything to address it.
