Saudi authorities have arrested a man for shooting Muhannad Al Zabn who had helped his wife’s delivery, after arguing that a female doctor should have overseen the birth. He was upset that Muhannad would have seen his wife naked.
The shooting occurred one month after the delivery of the baby in April at the King Fahad Medical City in Riyadh. The father went to the hospital to ‘thank’ the doctor for helping his wife during the delivery.
While both were talking in the hospital’s garden, the husband took out a gun he was hiding under his clothes and shot him. The bullet pierced Muhannad’s lung, but he is now in a stable condition. Cc: Gulf News
