Onyechi Ikpeazu, a counsel to the embattled former national publicity secretary of, PDP, Olisa Metuh has said his client is willing to return the N400m he allegedly received from the former national security adviser, Sambo Dasuki, shortly after his client lost an appeal to stop his trial.
Yesterday, Ikpeazu said: “Chief Metuh had shown sufficient evidence that he was not aware of the source of the N400m made available to him by GEJ and he has shown his willingness, since the commencement of this matter, to refund the said sum even when there is no guilt knowledge (mens rea).”…. bt he can only return it in Zimbawean dollars….
