On Monday, Adamu Mai Bisco, confessed to have killed his parents and two sisters in Potiskum, Yobe State. In a chat with The Nation, the State’s Police spokesman, Toyin Gbadegesin, said “He was not provoked before carrying out the dastardly act. Bisco acted under the influence of hard drugs.
Apparently under the influence of hard drugs (Marijuana and Tramol capsules), the suspect, without any provocation, as the victims were fast asleep, picked up a shovel and killed his father, mother and two sisters. The incident occurred about 1am. Upon receipt of a distress call, police moved in and arrested the suspect.
They recovered the exhibits and the suspect is still being interrogated. Investigation shows that the suspect is a drug addict, as he confessed to have consumed illicit drugs.”
