The 17-year-old boy was accused of molesting the baby in 2014, in India, after allegedly being caught in the act by the baby’s mother. Upon his arrest, he was sent to a juvenile remedial home as he awaited trial.
On April 19, he was making a court appearance when the girl’s father, Parminder Singh, 25, lured him away after purportedly offering him an out of court settlement.
He then took him near a dried up canal, beat him up badly and then tied him to a tree and finally hacked his hands off. Locals later alerted the police. Singh will now be charged with attempted murder.
