Man sues his ex-fiancée who broke up with him but won’t return his N6m engagement ring

Philip Langer, 45, from New York, proposed to leggy blonde Ashley Jae Chesler, 43, just three months after they met in a Manhattan bar. He thought he sealed the deal with a ring that featured a 2.52 carat diamond surrounded by 34 rubies and another 55 smaller diamonds.

He spent $30,000 on the customized ring but Chesler called off the relationship and months have gone without returning the ring despite the State’s law requiring her to do so. Langer wants a judge to force her to give the ring back or pay him what it’s worth…. in Zimbabwean dollars ….
