Nigeria’s biggest refinery, re-steamed, now producing 5m litres daily

According to NNPC, the Port Harcourt Refining Company, PHRC, which had been down for months due to poor maintenance and shortage of crude feedstock, has been re-streamed and now producing between 3 to 5 million litres daily, to alleviate the suffering of Nigerians in accessing petroleum products.

NNPC Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division, Garba Muhammad, also said Warri and Kaduna refineries were gearing up for production over the next couple of weeks as, according to him, “we have begun to supply crude to the refineries, but we are waiting to build up crude reserves before we fire them up in the next two weeks or so.”…. if Jesus Christ tarries….
