Lagos shuts 23 churches, 9 clubs houses and hotels, over noise pollution

23 churches and some clubhouses were yesterday shut down by the Lagos State government over the disturbing noise coming from their domains, following a series of complaints by their neighbours. Among them are the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Renewal Church, Surulere and Foursquare Gospel Church, Ogudu.

Among the clubs and hotels shut are: Evening Class Hotel, Gbagada; Hogan International Hotel, Ogudu; Hammond Guest House, Ikotun; Kamal Crib Club, Ketu; De Royal Night Club, St. Anthony Event Centre, Egbe-Idimu; and La Vida Club, Ojota…. for always playing gbedu wey dey burst brain…..
