Yesterday, Afolabi Akanni, who had been in detention at the Department of State Services, was released and was admitted shortly afterwards at a private hospital in Abuja. He was arrested for serious breaches involving state security. When reporters sought to interview him at the hospital, he kept on repeating; “I am not well. I am sick. I am sick.” He hinted that he was treated for malaria at the DSS detention facility after he collapsed twice. Cc: Vanguradngr
