N1.5m, automatic employment, car and scholarship for IMSU best graduating student

  

Chigozie, from Ogbaku, Mbaitolu LGA, emerged as the best graduating student of IMO State University at its 7th convocation which was held yesterday. with a CGPA of 4.71 in Optometry. The state Governor, Gov. Okorocha, gave him a sum of N1m with automatic employment as a lecturer at the university.

He also awarded him a scholarship for his masters abroad. Also, Hon. Deacon Chike Okafor, representing Okigwe South Federal constituency at the House of Representatives, and the Chief of staff government house Owerri, Hon. Uche Nwosu, gave him a total sum of N500,000.

The highlight was when he was given a brand new car by the pro Chancellor of the institution, Chief Innocent, who is also the owner of Innoson group of company, maker of Innoson cars. Hon. Mathew Omegara equally gave him the sum of N50,000 for fueling of his new car…. till 2019….
