Man gets 2 years in jail for impersonating ex-Benue State governor 

  

Joseph Onoja Gabriel was arraigned on an initial 4-count charge bordering on conspiracy to defraud, personation, forgery and using false document. In 2014, he had attempted to extort money from some foreigners under the pretence of giving them contracts.

Aside from that, he also procured a fake International passport bearing the name of the former governor, Gabriel Suswan, but with his own passport photograph. He was today convicted sentenced to two years imprisonment, starting from today…. which coincides wt d birthday of his girlfriend….
