It happened to me in Cmd road, Magodo, Lagos, when I tried to go and withdraw cash. During the process 2 guys were standing beside me withdrawing cash and i was not aware that they were thieves who are just there to rob people. During the process I felt a cold thing on my neck which was a Gun (They asked for my Pin code and I gave them the wrong one after a Hot slap and when I was pistol whipped I gave the original code).
One of them asked for my platinum chain and cut it off from my neck and when they asked for my phone which was left inside my car but one of them with the gun decided to go and get it from my car. Thats when I took to my heels and ran for my life. Shouting ole ole thief thief and they were 3 in numbers and ran off with 2 parked cars that they must have stolen from ex victims.
Long story short pls pls dont use Atm in areas that is too silent and when its past 10 at night, I attach the most devastating thing the Debit alert that was being withdrawn from my acct. Thanks for first bank for blocking my card when I called them but it was too late, N300k was gone. cc @tundebilly”
