Yesterday, Lagos State was struck by another boat accident, barely one week after the last one at Ijede,Ikorodu which claimed 7 lives. This one occurred in Badagry with 2 persons feared dead. 8 passengers and
2 crew members were aboard the boat which reportedly hit logs of wood midway into its journey and capsized. The driver and a woman are still missing. Only 4 of the 8 rescued people were said to have their life jackets on at the time of the accident.
