At least 13 people were killed today, when 3 suicide bombers blew themselves up in Chibok town of Borno state where Boko Haram kidnapped more than 200 schoolgirls, almost 2 years ago. The Hausa service of
the BBC said the blasts occurred at the town’s main market and at a military check point.
An eyewitness said 5 women kitted with explosives hidden under their gowns entered the town. 3 of them detonated the bombs, which killed about 13 persons and injured over 30 others. The other 2 are still at large. The attack took place despite the presence of security forces in the town.
