History was made today as the new Ooni of Ife, Oba Ogunwusi, became the first Ooni to visit Oyo town since 1937. Oba Ogunwusi, visited the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III, to grace his 45th
coronation anniversary thanksgiving.
The entire town became electrified immediately news filtered in that Ooni’s convoy had reached Owode, followed by about 30 other Obas from Osun State. The immediate past Ooni and Oba Adeyemi were embroiled in a long supremacy battle….. n nt like d 1-minute-noodle battle our musicians r now using to gain cheap fame…..
