Iranian national team goalkeeper, Sosha Makani, was arrested, last week, for posting pictures of himself with some unveiled women, on social media. This is against the Iranian cyber law which says ‘if
someone directly posts indecent photos of himself or others online, then a crime has been committed.’
The government says the photos have spread corruption and indecency. Makani is however claiming that his social media accounts were hacked, and the hacker somehow managed to acquire the photos and share them. He was released on bail yesterday, but faces up to 2-years in jail if found guilty…. let’s face it, 2 years is too small for a crime like ds…..
