From a hair dresser to a lawyer: Nigeria’s first female Speaker of the House of Rep graduates.

Patricia Etteh, 61, graduates from Buckingham University, 7 years after her 4-month stint as the head of Nigeria’s parliament, during which time she was tagged an ‘illiterate hair dresser.’ She was removed as the speaker of the house after signing off a
N628m contract for the renovation of her official home and that of her deputy as well as the purchase of 12 official vehicles without following due process.

She is now a Law graduate of Buckingham University, UK. She began the university’s popular 2-year undergraduate law programme in September 2012…. she said it wasn’t easy as she had to cope wt extreme pressure n distractions 4rm boys while in school…..
