Two policewomen overpower two robbers who held them hostage

Two robbers, Hafiz Omidokun and Peter Babalola, were, Wednesday, arrested for allegedly robbing two policewomen at Iyana-Ilogbo, Ogun State.

The officers were driving in a car belonging to one of them when the robbers suddenly double-crossed them, held them hostage and robbed them with a locally made pistol.

The suspects were about to mount their motorcycle when the two women engaged them in a fight and raised an alarm which led to their arrest.

They were about to be lynched by an angry mob, when the DPO Sango Division, CSP Oyedele Nasirudeen, who had earlier received the distress call, arrived with his patrol team and rescued them.
